The Diva Paints the Town by Krista Davis

Sophie and the gang are back in this third book to the the Diva series. Sophie has her hands full, she's the event planner at the local Rooms and Blooms home show, her neighbor Mordecai has past away and he has left instructions for her to do a bequest meal for five of his former students, giving them each a bottle of wine and a clue as to what they are to look for. His house is being redecorated by many designers each taking a room, and their leader is none other than Sophie's arch nemesis, Natasha, and of course she has to have her film crew there to film it all for her show, on top of that a patrol cop, Tara,  is after Sophie's somewhat boyfriend Wolf. But when  Tara stumbles out of the winning design at the Room and Bloom show, Sophie is right up there with on the suspect list, because rumors had been flying around the police station that Tara and Wolf were an item.

If that wasn't enough for Sophie, her neighbor Nia tells Sophie that she might of Killed her ex-boyfriend Kirk. Sophie looks for Kirk in Mordecai's house where Nina and Kirk was last, but it appears there is no blood, and no body, but when Kirk doesn't show up to do the kitchen in Mordecai's house nor for the bequest, Sophie figures something terrible has happened to Kirk. Can Sophie find out what happened to Kirk, solve Tara's murder to avoid her and Wolf from being the main suspects, and can Sophie get through another book without straggling Natasha!

This fast pace Diva book was an absolute joy to read. There's not a lot of character's in this installment that you can keep tract of who's who and their roles. With the character's being believable and well develop, this was a very good read.
